September 2008 - Michele Johnson presents "How to Green your Business" for WBEC-West |
Michele Finn Johnson, President of Artemis Consulting Group, Inc., presented strategies for greening business operations at the Women’s Business Enterprise Council-West (WBEC-West) Forum in September 2008. The Forum entitled "Green is the New Pink" outlined green strategies for small- to medium-sized companies, in the areas of energy, waste, water, travel, and meetings. Ms. Johnson also provided the business case for greening company operations.
Ms. Terri Yamate-Ottengheime, President of Beyond Zebra, Inc., a company specializing in green eco-friendly promotional products for the entertainment industry, also provided insight into the process of going green within her own firm. Beyond Zebra has retained Artemis to assist with the enhancement of their sustainability programs.
